LA Works our of Los Angeles, California purchased a brand new Freshpark skate park to be attached to a current community center "Family First". This past saturday Freshpark's own Matt Piercy and Zac Archuleta showed up to set up the park and be apart of 100+ other volunteers for the day. In addition to the Freshpark setup they turned a run down dirt lot into a beautiful garden and an old car lot into a colorful skatepark. doing a running commentary on the kids like they were on ESPN, everyone could feel the energy.

Legend CHRISTIAN HOSOI. We are so excited to have Christian in the Freshpark ™ family. 

In May of this year I was approached by a group called Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). They are a part of the Soboba Indian Tribe in southern California. The group wanted to know if I could get a well-known celebrity skater to come out and talk to their kids and teach them how to skate.
